Day 1: Arrival in Chandigarh and Transfer to Shimla
Arrive at Chandigarh airport, where you will be greeted by our driver who will take you on a scenic drive to Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Check into your hotel, and after relaxing, spend the evening exploring Mall Road. You can visit the local temples around the area, including the ancient Kali Bari Temple, which is dedicated to the goddess Kali. The temple offers a beautiful view of the Shimla town. Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 2: Shimla – Jakhu Temple and Hanuman Temple
After breakfast, head out to visit the famous Jakhu Temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Situated atop Jakhu Hill, the temple provides panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Spend time at the temple, exploring its surroundings, and soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. Afterward, visit the Tara Devi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Tara, located on the outskirts of Shimla. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Shimla to Kullu and Manikaran
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and proceed toward Kullu. En route, visit the famous Vaishno Devi Temple in Kullu, known for its serene atmosphere and spiritual significance. After visiting Kullu, head to the Manikaran Gurudwara and the Manikaran Temple, both famous pilgrimage spots. The Manikaran Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and is known for its hot springs. After exploring the area, check into your hotel in Kullu for the night.
Day 4: Kullu to Mandi – Visit to Rewalsar Lake and Temple
After breakfast, drive to Mandi, a picturesque town known for its temples. Visit the Rewalsar Lake and the Rewalsar Monastery, where you can also explore the ancient temple dedicated to Lord Padmasambhava. The place offers peaceful views and is perfect for meditation. Continue to visit the Bhuri Singh Museum and other temples of Mandi, including the Panchvaktra Temple and Triveni Ghat. Return to your hotel in Mandi for the night.
Day 5: Mandi to Manali – Visit Hadimba Devi Temple
Drive from Mandi to Manali after breakfast. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and head out for a visit to the Hadimba Devi Temple, dedicated to Hadimba, the wife of Bhima from Mahabharata. The temple is famous for its unique architecture and peaceful surroundings amidst deodar trees. You can also visit the Manu Temple, dedicated to the sage Manu, who is believed to be the creator of the world according to Hindu mythology. Stay overnight at your hotel in Manali.
Day 6: Manali to Dharamshala – Visit to the Chamunda Devi Temple
After breakfast, check out of your hotel in Manali and head towards Dharamshala. On the way, stop at the Chamunda Devi Temple, which is located on the banks of the Baner River in Kangra. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Chamunda and is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas in India. Continue your journey to Dharamshala, and upon arrival, check into your hotel. Relax for the evening, and overnight stay at your hotel in Dharamshala.
Day 7: Dharamshala – Visit to Bhagsunag Temple, Norbulingka Institute, and Chintpurni Temple
After breakfast, visit the Bhagsunag Temple, located near the Bhagsu waterfall. This ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is a beautiful place to spend time in spiritual reflection. Afterward, proceed to the Norbulingka Institute, a cultural site showcasing Tibetan art and crafts.
Later, take a drive to visit the famous Chintpurni Temple, located in the Una district of Himachal Pradesh. Dedicated to Goddess Chintpurni, this temple is known for fulfilling the wishes of devotees. It is one of the most significant Shakti Peethas in India. Return to Dharamshala for an overnight stay.
Day 8: Dharamshala to Chandigarh and Departure
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and drive back to Chandigarh. Upon arrival, visit the famous Mata Mansa Devi Temple, dedicated to the goddess Mansa Devi, located near Panchkula. After the temple visit, you will be dropped at Chandigarh airport for your onward journey, concluding the Himachal Temple Tour.
