Day 1: Arrival in Chandigarh – Journey to Shimla
Begin your journey with a pickup from Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station by our representative. Enjoy a scenic drive through the picturesque valleys, pine forests, and mountain roads as you head toward Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Upon arrival, check into your pre-booked hotel. Spend the evening exploring Mall Road or relaxing at the hotel. Overnight stay in Shimla.
Day 2: Shimla – Sightseeing and Local Highlights
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading out to explore the charm of Shimla. Visit the iconic Jakhu Temple, perched atop a hill, and take in the stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Next, visit the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, a beautiful example of British colonial architecture and a historical treasure. Stroll along Mall Road, Ridge, and Lakkar Bazaar in the evening for shopping and dining. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Kufri & Mashobra – Nature’s Retreat
After breakfast, embark on an exciting day trip to Kufri, a quaint hill station known for its lush greenery and adventure activities. Enjoy horse riding, yak rides, or simply walk through the scenic trails. Later, visit Mashobra, a tranquil haven surrounded by dense cedar forests and apple orchards. Day 4: Chail – The Royal Retreat
Post breakfast, head out for a full-day excursion to Chail, a serene hill station that was once the summer retreat of the Maharaja of Patiala. Explore Chail Palace, known for its grandeur, and visit the famous Cricket Ground, the world’s highest. Take a leisurely walk through Chail’s beautiful landscapes and forests. In the evening, return to Shimla for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Departure – Back to Chandigarh
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive back to Chandigarh. Relish the scenic beauty of the mountains one last time as you conclude your trip. Our representative will drop you at Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying memories of a delightful holiday.
